This is a human issue that is reflected in politics. It’s a matter of human consciousness level. It’s been getting better in the Democratic Party I think. You choose, blue or red. They are not the same.

Sometimes you can't vote based on any specific issue other than the preservation of democracy, because if you don't you--& others--will have less opportunity & power in the future. I can't explain our political reality any more succinctly, so if you can't grasp that, goodbye.

The President is not the most important election and voters have a lot less control over who the red and blue candidates are going to be.

Not true. We the people need to be doing the year round work to find and develop the candidates we want to elect. This is all primary type work. That is when the real party work must be done. Then in the general there is the Dem choice and the Republican choice. That’s it. Pick one.

Well great. Vote for the Republicans. You get one or the other. You gave a vote. You should use it.

You’re going to get either the record blue choice. It’s best to vote. Pick one. Look at the overall effect the choice will have.

Not sure. Maybe Mamdani but that’s not a guarantee. Just because he won the first round doesn’t mean he would have won a non ranked choice election. People vote differently in ranked choice voting than in non ranked choice voting.

Here’s the deal. Use your morals to choose for each election on the ballot. Choose red or blue. Which will best meet your desires. It’s very easy. You’re getting one or the other. Which do you prefer.

Who was in the general election. See how it works. In the general election there is a choice. Red or blue. What happened in the primary no longer matters.

Hurt feelings don’t change reality or the gravity of the situation.

There won’t be another election if Trump/Vance wins again. You can be sure that Trans and Gay people will have to go into hiding or move to another country if you don’t vote for blue no matter who. To me, that includes AOC, Bernie, Mamdani…

The responsibility is 100% on the voters. We hire our politicians by voting for them. You have a red or blue choice. You choose who you want to hire.

If you think Republicans are the way to go, vote for them. If not there is 1 alternative. Red or Blue, your choice.

That is fine but I have no patience or pity for complaints or concerns from people think their participation is optional.

Just remember you aren’t a victim of anything but your own thoughts and beliefs.
