I'm around a lot of 20-something guys, many of whom voted for Trump - largely because they were pissed about the economy and Biden screamed "NOT COOL." These same guys have lost all hope in Trump, and see him as a clown and a poser.

I see a ray of light. Kodai gets a 2-3 week break midseason, a couple of rehab starts in the minors to fine tune is already excellent stuff, and comes back even stronger mid-to-late July. LGM!!!!

And these Russian agencies are one small step away from the criminal organizations within Russia that push countless Internet scams.

And as Trump and Musk go all-in on destroying one another, we can only hope quite a few others get caught in the cross-fire. The dividend of this being that I imagine Trump will be redirecting the DOJ lawyers to go after Musk, taking pressure off the target of his other vendettas.

Financially, Musk would be doing so much better now if he'd put his money behind Harris. I'm guessing he's aware of that now.

Kinda makes you wonder where the story in the NYT regarding Musk's drug use came from - gotta think this was Trump's people setting up Musk.

In the 90's #GreenDay had the raw intensity of Punk, but resonated with mainstream audiences. #NOBRO has potential to do the same - singing provocative lyrics, with a non-threatening facade. As people hear/see them, I believe they're about to explode.

Congrats to PRB for another fantastic festival. Nothing better than three days immersed in the Land of Misfit Toys. Can't imagine another festival coming close to what you pull off every Memorial Day weekend.

OMG! 70th. Saw them in ABQ in April and they were outstanding, best show we've had all year.

The band I most wanted to see at #PunkRockBowling, but canceled, was Kid Kapichi. Not sure, but suspect it was the U.S. political climate. A band known for working-class anthems derailed by the very forces they rail against. It's so FUCKED UP.

#PunkRock song of the day. A couple of weeks ago I saw #VodooGlowSkulls in ABQ. I was next to the stage and it felt like being submerged in fun. I've never seen brass work so hard. It's like the brass was integrated into to songs as if another guitar.

Mine has a weak correlation with the music I listen/like/artist follow, etc. Either the algorithm is missing something fundamental or greatly overgeneralizing.

#PunkRock song of the day. This year my discovery at #PunkRockBowling was Louisville hardcore band #Shitfire. Their performance was a wake-up call, being one the first bands to take the stage. They were tight. They were intense. And Hannah Blakeman owned the stage.

#PunkRockBowling another fantastic festival - my fifth in a row. Sharing a shot of the most surreal scene. During #TheAddicts performance, they released these giant inflated balls onto the crowd. The spectacle of watching them bouncing up and down as the band continued to perform was pure delight.

I was there, actually about a 100 feet away. It was an overwhelmingly anti-MAGA crowd, but I saw a few instances over the weekend where individuals expressed dissenting views, and the crowd smirked and let it go. Which makes me think the guy must have been confrontational.

He also said he's going to eliminate taxes.

Totally get it. I'm in the midst of the unrealistic goal of getting rid of 80% of my stuff this year.

Trump's inner demons are eating him alive. OMG, could you imagine when his Sundowners is in full swing.

These are sloppy lies because the MAGA crowd can go to the grocery/gas station and see the truth, and start asking, "Why aren't MY eggs cheaper/Why isn't MY gas cheaper?" He's lost his edge - the old Trump wasn't so sloppy.

There's a lot of folks in the MAGA sphere who need an off-ramp. Lately, I've observed that the anti-billionaire sentiment is resonating with many of them.

If watch this season of Survivor, you see a woman with autism kicking ass in one of the most challenging, stressful settings imaginable.

Every weekend Trump treats himself to a golf getaway. These getaways cost tax payers $3.5-4M each.

For that cost, the gov could cover the annual cost of training 100 scientists, engineers, doctors, etc.

Most stupid prioritization of spending tax payer dollars EVER!!!!

I've often said that the Democratic Party needs a functional Republican Party. Unfortunately, the Republican Party has become a cult where the source of ideas is more important than the quality of the ideas - abandoning many of the steadfast principles on which they operated for decades.

Glad to see Vientos and Baty get hits, and hope Sterns has the A's reliever that closed today on his wish list.
