Energy bills are already too high - yet under Labour, they’re going up again.

They promised lower bills, but today’s hike means bills are £187 higher since they took office.

In energy-rich Scotland, this is indefensible. Only independence can deliver lower bills for good.

🥀 Before the election, Labour promised to lower energy bills by £300 - but now they’re skyrocketing.

People are struggling with the cost of living and blaming migration won’t fix that.

Labour promised cheaper energy bills, but instead, they are £150 higher than this time last year.

People will go into this winter struggling to heat their homes. In an energy-rich country, that is unacceptable.

Westminster won’t fix this – but with independence, Scotland can.

As I travel around Scotland, I see first hand the great potential of our people and economy, but also how we’re held back by Brexit and damaging Westminster policies.

The real change we need is independence.

I am so desperately sorry to hear of the death of George Reid. The last surviving SNP MP from the 1974 upsurge, he was an outstanding Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament.

His was one of the voices that persuaded me to support independence.

Sir George Reid, former SNP MP, MSP, Scottish Parliament Presiding Officer, and award-winning journalist, has passed away aged 86.

Scottish smoked salmon is fantastic and much loved across the world.

But Brexit has made it harder to export and Westminster’s immigration rules are hurting businesses like Associated Seafoods in Buckie.

With independence, we can rejoin the EU and grow our economy.

Scotland’s NHS was built on fairness and equality, yet Westminster keeps the door open to privatisation.

Only independence can guarantee it stays public, free and protected.

I want to live in a Scotland where no child grows up in poverty.

Child poverty is falling in Scotland, because we’re choosing to act.

But only with the powers of independence, we can transform our society and end child poverty for good.
