As a pilot and flight instructor and a person who’s always disliked math, I find it much easier to learn that the airplanes I fly, at the speeds I fly, typically have a rate of descent between 500 and 750 feet per minute. Of course, that is further reduced by my strong dislike of turbulence. 😃

I use Uber for a couple of trips every 6 weeks or so. I tried reserved service twice. Not a fan. The driver doesn’t get notified until about 30 minutes before you need the ride…
