I'm female, if non-binary.
I've been told I was too angry by a manager when I asked an obnoxious guy coworker to please be quiet so I could think.
Obnoxious coworker was practically hysterical, screaming at me, and I couldn't think.
(Manager didn't actually see me at angry, that was annoyed.)

Constitutionally, states run elections.
RN I'm glad of it, as it makes them more difficult to rig.
However, the US government could mandate universal mail-in ballots as a requirement for the states.
It would be helpful.

You have to be older than 65 or disabled to get a mail-in ballot in TX.

I voted yesterday. They had separate machines for GOP primaries.
I think I saw two Republican voters, vs about 75 Dem primary voters.

Ok, so, for the general?
There should be a voter helpline you can call to get the address of your polling location up in Dallas.
There's one down here for Harris county.
The county system here showed me where to go, the state system didn't seem to be working correctly.

Honestly?
1. I think it would ideally be a constitutional amendment.
2. I think the justice department needs to be under direct and complete control of Congress.
0.75% as in,3/4 of 1 %. I'm dyscalculaic.
I originally thought 1% of any given electorate, but then decided that was too high a bar.

If 0.75% of any given representational district's registered voters signs a petition of no confidence, a special election is called?

I think if 0.75 % of any district's registered voters sign a petition of no confidence, a special election should be called.
That's actually a fairly high bar.
But really, I prefer proportional representation. That works better than our current system in representing voters.

I rate stuff on rollercoasters.
As in, the terrifying act of doing normal things can be rated in units of how frightening it is when you go into the first drop of a big 'coaster.
Job interviews are about 8 rollercoasters for me.

"smartphones are killing education"
education has been intentionally strangled by the us government for decades, no child left behind actively forced schools to teach only to the test and that means rote memorization, the WORST way to learn ever devized
this is the system working as intended

To be fair, Trump has no empathy whatsoever.
He doesn't care about y'all's troops, he barely pretends to care about ours πΊπ².
The rest of humanity might as well be talking furniture to him, only good for what he can use us for.

Temporarily.
The regional commanders have authority to attack while the government regroups, and successors step into their designated roles.
They're already choosing another supreme leader.

This is correct.
Also, the top officials all have a line of designated successors.
ATM, the government is regrouping, while commanders act independently.

Temporarily, yes.
But the system was constructed with loads of redundancy.
High level officials all have a line of successors.
Iran's security failure was gathering most of the top officials together in one place for a meeting. Very foolish.

To GET the leverage to do that, we're going to have to peacefully cause a lot of problems over time.
We're going to have to use mutual aid and community support to provide each other with assistance-the government won't.
I see this effort lasting long after Trump is 6 feet under.

I'm afraid that money = power coupons.
If we don't remove a large part of the wealth from the very rich, and have public campaign funding only, we're going to continue to live in an oligarchy.
Voting alone won't result in those changes.

But I am really sick of getting shit on by centrists when I've held my nose and voted for every candidate that I KNEW wasn't going to address the long-festering problems I've been observing for 30+ years.

The first election I was old enough to vote in, I voted for Bill Clinton. I then got to watch Bill throw the LGBTQ people and the unions under the bus.
Those were the very people who blockwalked to get him elected.
