RAYN4: Now if you would excuse me, I am going to be off to hang out with my real family, and put my love into them, into my fiancé, my beloved significant other, and a very special kitty fox.

With this, we'll take our permanent leave from this platform, move on to better things, and spend time with better people. With people who actually give a shit about each other’s well-being instead of with the glorified rat-race that social media platforms like Twitter & Bluesky had largely become.

After all, there are too many folks, good folks in this world, who are only alive today thanks to my interventions. Can Rhea and Oracle say the same about themselves, or will we have found out that without people like me around, they would have managed to abuse vulnerable folks into suicide?

No matter what our abusers do to try to gaslight the community and turn them against us, we know that ultimately, they will not win, and they know this too. This is because the folks who remained are those who will love us for who we are, rather than who we would have pretended to be.

The world will know how Rhea is a backstabber who lacks the integrity to see past her own physical attractions to identify abusers within her own community, and that her own indifferent attitude towards community safety had led her into interacting with unsafe people.

The world will know how Oracle would take advantage of her victim’s momentary weaknesses, traumas and compromised states of mind in order to push past boundaries and grab what she wanted out of them without their consent.

Unlike our abusers, we don’t need to look over our shoulders at every turn, terrified out of our minds that the truth will catch up to us and deliver our reckoning. Unlike these fairweather friends who claimed to protect us from our abusers, we do not fold like lawn chairs at the slightest pushback.

The truth will always find a way to catch up to the lies, and it will always shatter the veil of gaslight. All we need to do is tell our story, because the truth is on our side. All throughout this ordeal, we have been acting with a clean conscience.

Just like how Drake wasn’t able to keep the truth of his sex trafficking ring from the world, the truth of what happened to us will come to light regardless of Oracle and Rhea’s efforts to suppress the truth, and rewrite the narrative.

Maybe if Oracle had wanted people like RAYN4, and Poes to fall in love with her, maybe losing the emotional rapist personality would be a start. After all, the constant boundary violations, self-flagellation and emotional blackmail are a huge turn off.

Out of everyone in the furry community we’ve met, Poes was one of the very few folks who exemplified the kind of people we had hoped to see on Bluesky; Kind, caring, graceful, patient, understanding, and above all, principled. It is no wonder RAYN4 had fallen in love with it.

Until the furry fandom on social media addresses the main problem of vibes being the main community-building heuristic, it will continue to have these issues where sex pests are rewarded with community, while their victims languish in isolation. This is gaslight, gatekeep and girlboss in action.

We would also say the same about the furry community, of which we had been a peripheral part of for our entire adult life, and we can say with full confidence that it had not really improved in how they dealt with their sex pests. Nothing has changed since the Zaush exposé.

This was not what we had wanted to see when we joined Bluesky, and yet it was largely what we ended up getting.

What we are pointing to, is the issue where people fall into the temptation to value their own popularity and branding over integrity and principles, leading to self-appointed community leaders abusing their unearned power in order to force their wills onto the dispossessed with impunity.

This example is just one of many that I could bring up when it comes to the problems of social media and how it has a perennial sex pest problem. The fact that Bluesky was modeled largely after Twitter means that the same problems that plagued Twitter would also be a problem on Bluesky.

And yet, here we are, being faced with the fact that yet another person who we thought was safe had hollowed out their own soul, and abandoned us in order to maintain a level of presence within Bluesky. They have effectively chosen to look away from sexual abuse for their own comfort.

This is quite disappointing, as out of all of the folks from Bluesky that we had known, we would expect them to understand how traumatic and damaging being subject to constant boundary-pushing from a sex pest can be, and how important it is to support sexual abuse victims during critical moments.

Upon learning that while they had been avoiding the discord server that we shared with them, they had been very active in other discord servers. We were forced to confront the realization that in spite of their reassurances that we weren’t forgotten, they had already moved on without us.

Unfortunately, this would be the last we would hear from them. They would claim that they do not have the spoons to sustain a conversation, and yet they would spend those same limited spoons getting involved in inconsequential discourse on Bluesky, as well as make promises that they could not keep.

Then Alice mentioned that we had been worried about them since losing contact, and that she had been trying to comfort us in the meantime. When asked if they wanted to leave a message for us, they relayed that they were in a lot of pain, and that they send us their love.

When Alice asked the mentor if they had talked to Poes or us lately, the mentor declined, but also said that they haven’t forgotten about us, and that they had been mostly public-facing.

This wall of silence had been going on for 4 months so far, even going so far as to stonewall Poes when it was dealing with suicidal ideation from the sheer feeling of loneliness from the situation, and hopelessness it felt towards the future.

As an example, Poes’ now former mentor, who once doted on it, calling it their sibling, and had helped it discover a lot of things about itself, had hit Poes with a wall of silence after Poes shared its story about having been sexually abused by Oracle.

As if social media clout would ever amount to anything at the end of the day. As if getting a ton of followers and likes will ever equal the fulfillment that comes from walking the path of right action, and building real karma from seeking personal growth and showing true integrity.

As a consequence, we felt isolated and betrayed by the very community we helped to foster. Bluesky users can say a lot of lofty and noble proclamations about social justice, and community aid in order to boost their own social profile, but utterly fail to show solidarity when it mattered.

This would soon prove to be another example of irony, as Alice’s subsequent statements speaking out about our mistreatment at the hands of our abusers would be placed under undue scrutiny by those same people, proving that the accusations are more than likely to be a projection.

Some time later, when our sibling/mother Alice reposted our bid for mutual aid on Bluesky, she was beset by a very angry Rhea who had a very public meltdown and spitefully added her to a public blocklist. Citing her slipshod narrative about RAYN4 being a stalker as a reason.

In the end, we can count on one hand the number of mutuals who did not utterly fail to show us, Oracle’s sexual abuse victims, solidarity.

To be honest, with how traumatizing this experience had been for Poes and us, we don’t know if we’d feel safe calling them anything more than acquaintances.

To be very clear, what Oracle did to us, and to Poes, was emotional rape, using repeated boundary violations while we were too emotionally, physically and mentally compromised to catch on to her advances as they were happening. Folks on Bluesky were happy to defend this.
