This weekβs video considers whether MCON managed to make a better Xperia Play or just another awkward mobile controller.

My Portal did not like my mobile hotspot today...
Emulation enthusiasts crying foul and shaming others at the re-release of an old game because they can "get the game free with a quick search" really detracts from the argument that emulation's about preservation and fair use of purchased games
I feel like folks really undersold the Logitech G Cloud. For a 3+ year-old handheld focused on streaming, it holds up surprisingly well.
My MCON finally arrived. I'm pleasantly surprised at how decent it feels to use. Although, I'm still less thrilled that it manages to triple the thickness of my Pixel 10 Pro.
This week's video is about the RG DS. It offers the lowest-priced entry point to dual screen emulation to-date. There's plenty for DS fans to get excited about, but also more than a few compromises along the way.

If they made the software also available for Windows, I'd highly consider switching. While not the biggest fan of Final Cut Pro, saving $40 - $50 per month on subscriptions seems like it'd be worth giving it another shot.
Final dual screen device of the year finally arrived. Anbernic really went all-in making sure it looks exactly like a DSi XL
This week's video dives into the Ayaneo Pocket DS. It's possibly the best dual screen handheld to-date...or at least would be if not for some unfortunate quirks.

Gotta love Anologue's turnaround with fun colors immediately after finishing basic color deliveries

Wrapping up final script writing on the Pocket DS. It's surprisingly comfortable to take with me to cafes.
The responses to this video have been the most extreme of any of my videos so far.
Turns out that pointing out flaws in a handheld some folks staked their entire personality on leads them to calling me fat and stupid π€·ββοΈ
This week's video tackles the first dual screen device I couldn't recommend anyone buy, the AYN Thor.

This week's video's all about the OneXSugar Sugar 1. It has it's quirks but might just be the best dual screen handheld money can buy.

A new week, a new device with ideas about what a dual screen handheld should be.
Wrapping up my AYN Thor review this weekend. Using it back-to-back with the Sugar 1 really highlights how little effort AYN put into making the Thor a quality dual screen handheld.

SteamOS doesn't currently support multiple monitors in Game Mode. So, it's essentially a Desktop Mode-only accessory.
Glad I could help! And, I totally get it. It's kinda hidden by design to make it look sleeker. Very easy to miss.
It looks like you're plugged into the display's side port instead of its back port. The side port only provides passthrough power.
After startup, tap Steam menu > Power > Desktop Mode to enter Desktop Mode.
In Desktop Mode, open the Settings app; select the Display menu from the lefthand pane. If your display's recognized, you'll see two boxes on this screen. Click on the one not labeled "Built In Display" for extra settings.
Did you check your display settings in Desktop Mode? It's possible you're not set up to expand to external displays.
This week, we take a look at the (underrated) AMD Z2 Go Lenovo Legion Go S. While it's not the best handheld money can buy, it's a perfect illustration that you also probably don't need the best handheld money can buy.

Ngl, I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I am.
This week's video investigates whether the TrimUI Brick's made better by adding a shiny metal shell.
(Spoiler: It's complicated.)

Gotta love when the US government extorts a 13% fee to allow you the privilege of receiving the $600 handheld you already paid for
This week's video shows off a versatile dock and great way to turn a laptop into an extra monitor for handhelds.

Reminding folks that they can play Nintendoland with their Steam Deck is still my favorite capture card trick.
$600 for a base handheld is a lot, but it also feels in line with offerings from Lenovo and Valve.
Still, it'd be a great time for older Z1 and Z1 Extreme handhelds to start selling for heavy discounts.
