Thank you so much for SoD. For nearly 2 years, I have rediscovered my love for WoW and met some incredible people.
With the announcement, is it safe to assume only future content is hot fixes/balancing? Should I let go of my dream of a Horde Paladin? 😅

There's a new PTR build for the SoD client. Praying for some news. If I cross my fingers any harder for Horde Paladin/Alliance Shaman, they might break! The hopium is off the charts, please give us some good news of the SoD future @aggrend.bsky.social
If I could make 2 minor suggestions:
1) Can we increase money drops in SE to make it slightly less painful to relair? Lol...
2) On Cald, could the Magus have longer spell-casting pause after interrupt? Feels like it's cast, interrupt, take 2 steps, repeat. As add tank, ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! 😅
After 4 weeks, we finally cleared Scarlet Enclave in SoD.
It was punishing yet totally satisfying. Our raid team felt like a family celebrating when Cald finally fell over for good.

Got mine for "suggested retail price" the day pre-orders went live.
Between this and the Suikoden 1 & 2 Remasters, I am happy happy happy.
@aggrend.bsky.social Low key - the FFIX and FFX references in Scarlet Enclave have my guild going nuts. Even the random damage from Beatrix's Meteor spell (at least it seems random based on our log research).
Gaming wise, not sure what I will do when WoW: SoD dies down and guilds start losing people. No interest in Anniversary until TBC, and retail isn't my thing.
Guess I could dip back into my retro games until the next WoW Classic project.
Also, if there's a way to fix the shield sheathe issue with Shamans so I can be MT vs "add tank".... 😉

Thanks for giving me nearly 2 years of the best WoW memories I've ever had.
I love SoD, I love this raid, I love learning the mechanic and then seeing each attempt get the boss lower and lower.
My fear is the casual community in SoD who are excited to try and will fail right out of the gate and quit. And those who get angry at the difficulty and quit cuz "it's the end".

As a raid lead in a large Horde raid guild - we want Paladins. We think it would greatly boost Horde pop in PvE and so much fun stuff in P8 that we've found.
