A wonderful synopsis of medical AI today. @bobwachter.bsky.social alerts us to the massive changes to come in healthcare business. Physicians are fiduciaries whereas hospitals are not. Big hospitals and their EHRs will resist productivity improvements directly aimed at doctors and patients.

To align with peers, we have to trim medical, drug, and insurance spending by $1.5 Trillion while also improving access and outcomes. Increasing productivity through clinical technology is the only way.
