16.07.2025 17:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 3 π 1Illegal aliens represent the 21st century version of slaves and that makes Democrats desperate to hold onto βemβ¦and make the rest of us pay for their healthcare.
01.07.2025 16:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Leading that disgusting charge is Oregon Democrat Jeff Merkley. Jeffro, whoβs not exactly the sharpest tool in the box, says βWhat happened to stateβs rightsβ...the same rallying cry Democrats used defending slavery.
01.07.2025 16:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Dems defeated that, even though 4 of βem crossed the aisle and voted with the Republicans.
Sen. John Cornyn, who sponsored the medicaid cut, put it this way βDemocrats chose to side with the worst of the worst in our society over our seniors and the most vulnerable American citizens. Disgusting.β
Federal law already forbids those benefits for any illegals.
But blue states like Oregon and Washington cheat around the rules and give it out anyway.
So the Big Beautiful Bill would cut federal payments to states that cheat.
Consider last nightβs efforts to pass the Big Beautiful Bill. That's the one that preserves tax cuts, benefiting average families by letting them keep thousands more from their own paychecks.
Republicans proposed to cut medicaid benefits for illegals charged or convicted of major crimes.
Democrats like Senator Jeff Merkley want to make it clear: they put the interests of illegal aliens ahead of their American constituents.

04.04.2025 21:32 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0It is any wonder that the serious problems of the region donβt get addressed when
so many in elected office seem to be thinking with something other than the head between their ears.
Congressman David Wu, who liked cavorting around in a tiger costume, resigned after being accused of sexually assaulting the daughter of a friend.
All of them members of the Democrat Party, of course, which has double standards or it would have none at all.
And then consider the regionβs history. A child rapist former Governor. Another Governor forced to resign after his grifter girlfriend peddled influence.
One of Portlandiaβs former Mayorβs chased a teenage boy around the legislature till the boy turned legal age before bedding him.
In Washington state a politician who, I kid you not, describes himself as βJessica Ann Roberts" βA bisexual trans woman with itty bitty (blanks) and a big girl (boy part).β who makes money on the side with an Only Fans account.
Jessica Ann now has a spot on the Lynwood city council.
Consider the most recent examples from Oregon and Washington.
A new Clackamas county commissioner indicted for eight felonies in an alleged fraud against an elderly man. Melissa Fireside has thankfully resigned.
Do you ever wish the freak show of Northwest politics would just stop?

Instead, we let Canada dump its excess lumber in America at prices that cripple our industry.
How else can you explain 35-thousand employees of the United States Forest Service, managing a quarter of a billion acres of treesβ¦and losing money.
Donald Trump can change that.
Yet, 30 percent of the lumber we buy comes from Americaβs future 51st state.
It would be like Saudi Arabia importing oilβ¦or Hollywood importing pedophiles.
I hope those tariffs kickstart Americaβs timber industry.
It would mean jobs, and taxes, and keeping Americaβs forests safe from fires.
Iβve wondered out loud for the last 30 years why a country with so much of its own timber would buy 2 by 6s from someone else .
Federal, state and local governments in the U.S. own 300-million acres of trees.
Private companies own 50% more of that.
Americaβs new tariffs on China, Mexico and Canada rolled in around midnight last night.
Donald Trump has used tariffs as a powerful bargaining tool with positive effects in the less than 2 months he has served as President.
One area of tariffs holds a special interest for me: wood.
Hey County commissioners, you made this mess, you clean it up and when the price tag stuns your voters, they know what to do at the next election.
24.02.2025 18:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The County claims it is short of cash and wants a bailout - $55M from the state.
As though the homeless problem grown by Multnomah County must be paid for by Harney, Josephine, Clatsop and 32 other counties hundreds of miles away.
Two years ago, the County had so much money it claimed it could not figure out how to spend it all.
The county spent millions giving away tents and tarps that clutter the urban landscape. Now the city of Portland is spending tens of millions to clean up that mess.
