1. This might be it, guys. I was asked to get my affairs in order. Could be the button hook joke before the lights out.
2. They tend to get a bit more hopeful every time they talk to me. Probably not going to end in hugs and puppies, but it will also probably not be the end in the ultimate sense.

On one hand, I get big time second-hand anxiety. The suspense is killing me even though I know how it ends.
On the other hand, I see my own gears turning as I tried to make peace with the stuff. I was walking a tight rope of expressing to my far-flung group of friends:

I understand the meta exodus, but my facebook memories this time last year, when I was finding out, dealing with, and processing the fact I had cancer are worth me sticking around.
