There are two reasons why the Liberal Party of Canada won last night:

1) Trudeau did what was best for his country, not what was best for him, and stepped down to give Mark Carney a chance.

She's one of those people Americans generally aren't familiar with, so it's worth pointing out that she deserves mentioning in the same breath as giants like Professor Snyder. Her work in the UK has been outstanding and she is an extremely qualified individual to document the bad guys' actions.
