No they are pretty much on their own musically esp at that time. It's probably why they weren't big. They didn't fit into any category really. If there was any justice the Asquarius album would have put them on the map. Highly recommend.

Yes when Brett was reviewing singles for the NME. Said he hated bands like Cud who were basically a comedy band or words to that effect.
