My next project is likely to be my most strange, inscrutable, and highest-barrier to entry thing I've done. Something that could not exist separated from the context and mechanics of the platform it's on (VRChat).

New vrchat update seems to have finally broke (as in, loading into them hard crashes vrchat) some of my older worlds, so I've been going through and dragging them all into unity 2022.

For those who really enjoyed the environments of ULTRA-FANTASTIC MOVEMENT, I'd recommend a game called Northern Journey. It was a big inspiration and I still think it beats out anything I was able to accomplish in the world.

I'm glad you enjoyed. Where you confused about progression bits or are you talking about the story? The story is definitely meant to be confusing.

Thank you, I hoped to achieve an artstyle that people haven't seen on vrchat quite yet. I ended up having to make lots of custom shaders to do that, but I think it ended up well enough, people seem to be reacting positively.

I don't actually disagree about the puzzles, especially the ones where it's just 'find thing'. If I was willing to spend more months coming up with unique and interesting things I would, but it had already been a year and half and it had to come out eventually.
