I go chronologically from 1855-1917 to cover the two depth studies, then turn thematic. Repetition by then is great retrieval!

I’ve been trying to work these out for a while now, so tough and I find OCR marking inconsistent on them. Do you teach the course thematically or chronologically?

Instead, I now go: 1) whole class feedback 2) personal written feedback at end of the lesson 3) part of homework to digest result and advice 4) variety of tasks including model answer. Get rid of that wistfully wasted time. Sequencing matters.
