This is the first thing I saw opening this app.

My end goal is to see this catch on. Not looking to be some big hero or leader, just getting the fire going.

And if those I share it with are generous enough to show how it works with peers *they* know and so on, that's even better.

There's still about a week until the 2nd one arrives, but I've committed to this thought.

To ask someone to blindly buy it and try it is foolish. No, I've put my money where my mouth is, that's how confident I am. Shipping as well.

And you know what? I'd do it a 3rd and 4th time too.

This doesn't have to be just another android emulation device, but a gateway to something more.

The timing is perfect, but it's a thankless endeavor.

Game dev is largely a hobby for me, and this is my sweet spot.

2 sets of shoulder buttons
dual analog sticks

I'm not anyone of note. All I have are aspirations and drafts at the moment.

However, I've come across others who *can* do it, who *have* done it.

Who I seek is a fellow game dev I can trust, that *wants* to understand the worth of a device like this. Someone willing to speak on it.

So, update. I ordered another one. After fiddling around, this is just plain nice. Not immensely powerful compared to other offerings, but wonderful for the asking price.

To get to the point, I want to find someone else to take the dive with me. As for the who, that's not easy to answer.

Mangmi AX - Deltatraveler works, though support for android was abandoned if I read the site right. Not sure what will break, but I'm going in.

It's an irl save point. I won't elaborate.

Unfortunately some games *do* suffer from a bug that stops the controls from working after putting the device to sleep, but that's a device issue I think. Happened with Triple Trouble 16 Bit yesterday too.

Checked out SAGE for some android stuff and found a remake of Tails Adventure. Works just fine with only buttons.

Okay but actually, I need to brush up on my negotiation skills lol. Years of abstract humor and purposeful mispeak has made my way of speaking vague and eye-searing in casual settings.

If I don't want these hypothetical people to slam the door in my face, that's gotta go fast.

Found an old sketch for a game map. Drive says it's dated back May 2017.

No way do I have the actual paper anymore, but it's nice it was somewhat archived.

I used to sketch a lot back in school. Digital is nice, but there's just something about the physical stuff I miss, regardless of quality.

Is it normal to feel like the connections you make with people are equivalent to handling chemicals that shouldn't mix?

Like, you know for sure if they ever met, it would get ugly. They all mean well in their own way, but... you know.
