They're just jealous that they didn't gerrymander this well. That's a top tier job right there.
I like boiling water for people with a $5 bill between the induction surface and the pot to demonstrate the relative safety. My sister has an induction range now, but I doubt it's because of my goofy enthusiasm.
My dad is autistic and 77. He's just undiagnosed. When he was learning about how to work with my kiddo, he realized everything he was reading described himself. He can't afford a diagnosis and has no need for one at his age. I did get assessed and diagnosed because I have to keep working.
Come downtown, JD. I can get a nice group of housed office workers together to yell at you if that's your preference.
It's a coffee shop. I never thought twice about the name until I saw your comment. There's a cute explanation in their about section: www.dancinggoats.com/pages/about-us
That last comment... are these people serious? Animals and plants can and do get sick and die from the effects of sun exposure. My cat died of skin cancer two years ago. That may or may not have been due to sun exposure, but it absolutely could have been. She did love sitting on window sills.
So the AI misidentified who was the immigrant and who was the attorney on a document you submitted? Surely a completely unforeseeable problem...
Right. Definitely not bodily autonomy or any of the other crazy liberal personal liberties.
I wish someone had told me transgender operations were free. I waaay overpaid.
How did you, of all people, end up on that list? The person who added you needs to read posts more carefully?
Bonus for maga: it'll disenfranchise trans people whose birth states don't allow birth certificate changes, not just people who literally don't have a birth certificate, like that older rural woman I met at the DMV who simply never had a birth certificate (she was trying to get ID to vote).
I agree... Our neighborhood group was adorable today with Georgia snowperson photos. Groups are moderated by actual people who care, so that makes it easier to stomach - I know that hate speech won't be tolerated in the groups I care about. I'm over the rest of it.
Parenting young adults is a whole thing. I just kind of try to channel anyone other than my own parents when I get a late night knock about some wayward friend who needs to crash at ours.
These friends-of-offspring always have names like Juniper or Coyote and are trans like spouse & me. We say yes.
Bonus work from home day!
Watching yet another BBC detective show and wondering why it's ok for a singular person to use a plural pronoun self-referentially ("pass us the sugar, love" or whatever) without the TERFS losing their minds. This has been going on forever. Have the pronoun police been informed?
Awww. Glad it was a success. They always look so cute recovering in donuts.
