two things I've learned yesterday

1. twitch wasn't mentioned by name when it comes to running ICE ads, it still remains to be seen but the push on twitch is good
2. some people really, really hate streamers and project their disdain for corporations onto them

i stg every kink can be subtextually boiled down to:
-i am powerful/in control
-i am seen as desirable
-i am safe and can now be vulnerable
-i can explore taboo in a safe + controlled environment

once you realize that you realize that no kink can hurt you

I have used windhawk and glazewm so extensively that people have thought my windows looks like linux lol

try a different registrar possibly, mine was from porkbun and it was like $10/yr

but suggestions for small streamers to simply leave twitch, spin up an owncast server, and have any degree of discoverability/community/income from the endeavor is so deeply unserious lol

pretty much yeah, like, I absolutely get where the original point is coming from, and it's causing some especially good points to be made and people are pressuring twitch en masse over it

on the flipside though, being thrown under the bus for a point to be made, however noble, does get tiring

cause online spaces do have that phenomenon where people only look at something if it's written in the incendiary tense

I wonder if the original OP missed the mark purposefully as the clarification would get more attention than if she were less heavy-handed, because if so then bravo :V

If you want to tell Twitch you don't want any ICE/Military ads you can use this user voice to do so.

Reminder,

Twitch (and other platforms) don't allow creators to control what ads are run on their streams, videos/VODs, podcasts, etc.

PLEASE don't instantly assume we want this. We're very likely just as pissed off (if not more) than you are about this.

Help us yell at the platform instead.

pressure campaigns are for corporations, not for threatening small streamers that you'll hold them accountable over something they have no control over (re: possible ICE ads on twitch)

like, idk what you were expecting by trying to punch laterally

yee that makes sense, improvement for the sake of being able to experience all the cool/fun things the game offers is a good goal to have, but sometimes gets rained on by improvement becoming too much of a grind to get

(also a 945 sightread on megaton killer is very good and nothing to sneeze at, it is quite a painful/draining chart)

I feel this a lot tbh, I feel pretty dissatisfied with how I do despite getting what most would call ranker scores cause most rankers have soared way higher than I have and I feel walled from progress lol, idk if happiness is ever found in the ladder
