ohhhhhhhguhghghhhhhh I hate writing these so much oughhhhh three anthro rat/mouse people, all supposed to be the same character? mostly. oughh it's a sketchy pig boar kinda thing... they're like, looking over their shoulder while eating something grossly and messily with little spit falling from whatever sinuous bit is half in their mouth and stuff idk. it's silly cause (most) rpg games can't really be "realistically" sized, so they should just cut out empty filler npcs (or put the filler population in an area that the player can't get to but can still see or something)

mostly meant to be visibly human and animal, without trying to be uncanny... not sure if I did it good or not. Supposed to be somewhat of a nun's veil, with the headwrap part covering the eyes. Not sure if it's done well but the esthetic is nice to me.

oughhhh I have to write so much since there's two oughhh left one is a dullahan holding her own head up to the one on the right. She looks a little smug or whatever, bemused/etc. I pointed her ears a little cause I think it's fun to draw. She got short hair, I figured if it was long it'd be impractical with the whole head not attached? thing? like you'd walk by something and it'd catch and then you'd get like, undead whiplash from your disconnected head. That'd be awful I think. I referenced the Cainhurst stuff from Bloodborne because I really like bloodborne. It's the uhh male knight? ones? I'm not sure if you look for the art book stuff I referenced male and female knights concept art from that. I gave her a frilly neck and a cravat because I think it's fun for the headless design. The one on the right is supposed to look a lot like a vampire with a really long neck cause I think it'd be funny if someone so obviously a vampire was denying it, and nobody could call them out on it since it'd be disrespectful to a royal/etc. She has a face mask on, her hair is tied up. She has a really long neck with a stereotypical vampire bite mark midway up. Her dress features a lot of her upper body, and is pretty heavily based off of the art for queen Annalise from Bloodborne (one of the portraits for the outfit, the one that looks exactly like Annalise, is the one I used. I don't want to describe the outfits more than that... also I think describing things in such detail for alt text just helps scrapers? I'm not sure though, I do feel a little bad cause some people do need/want alt text to figure out what the image is of. The terrible watermark says @simuloart on bsky

She's got a little bag on her hip, her shirt/top has a big cut in it and the collar is very worn, she's got a little coinpurse on top of her cleavage... I didn't draw the clothes that I wanted to try because big poofy sleeves and stuff was hard to draw and I got distracted drawing other stuff... uhhh idk

a depiction of a "handgonne" or hand cannon, or whatever else you'd want to call it. This example requires a slow burning match (saltpetre soaked match) to be touched onto the touch hole, which was a hole that allowed the gunpowder to be ignited. The "stock" of the handgonne is a long shaped stick, which could be held over the shoulder and braced or held under the armpit (or held through a pavise shield or something similar to brace the front end and keep it steady).

same as the other one (except way cruder looking), now the match is replaced with a long s-shaped lever that drops onto the touch hole to ignite the gunpowder. Also depicted is someone casting slugs? probably? I dunno I don't wanna go look it up

early firearms didn't really need thumbs to fire at all, early triggers were basically just a big z-shaped lever that did the "put fire into the gunpowder-filled hole" bit for you, and you could brace them on a Y shaped stick to not have to awkwardly brace it

this panel? drawing? part of it? is framed really well... the mirroring of both of them, the gender confusion/feminization juxtaposed with "just" gay stuff and their expressions being distinct and everything's foreshadow-y... very nicely done!! (hopefully all of that was intentional, lol)

Raccoon dog/tanuki anthro with two revolvers (colt dragoon-ish guns), he has a boss of the plains hat, a bandana around the mouth, a cropped leather jacket, one arm is armored and ends in a puffy slit sleeve. The other arm has a uhhhh tied bandana or something that I forgot to color but I'm not going to like, admit that I forgot to color the inside of the slit sleeve and the thing around his arm cause that'd be embarrassing. He has cuirassier-ish boots that are also supposed to be like chaps (with a leather bit extending from the rim of the boots up to protect the front of the individual). I forgot to put that he has frayed cut denim shorts and fisnets on. @simuloart on bsky
