All of your interpretations have been quite fun and influential. Such a mirror is always helpful. I still really like the general idea of the short haomao with the giant pile driver fist.

i don’t think i’ve posted my old work for CATWORLD NO MERCY- or if i did, i can’t remember!
but here’s some of my iterations of pawsible characters in catworld!

A somewhat earlier iteration of this model can be downloaded from my cults or MMF if you have a printer and want a catgirl taller than a space marine. It doesn't have the smoke launchers on the gun yet. When I prepare her clanmates for release, the free model will be updated to match with new bits.

It occurred to me that just posting model renders with cryptic descriptions of the world they inhabit won't really explain anything. So instead here's a shot off the workbench with no explanation besides "what if cat, but big??? with gun???"

That's like 95% of my work, by the way. It's all cats.

Painting your own stuff always feels a little strange. I did this a while ago (over a year!) so I need to hurry up and release them so I can see better painters than I try tackling them, lol. (Also, if you were at Adepticon 2024 and I handed you one of these, reach out!)

Interesting! A friend of mine in Japan was talking about these, including the 3D printed origins of it. Not bad for 100 yen!

Both model packs are from GHQ models, a SdKfz 351/1 carrier and their 1990–2005 Modern US Infantry. The bases are printed.

I'm also really tickled by the idea of vehicles with less collective durability than a single point of armor/critical slot. The mental image of an AC/20 throwing a refrigerator through the windshield of some budget wheeled carrier and folding it into a fortune cookie is as potent as it is funny.

Man I love Battletech combined arms, especially because it gives me an excuse to buy all kinds of tiny vehicles to piece together into motor/mech infantry units.

The game really shines with a diversity of toys, I think.

Half-Dragster wheel arrangement is awesome, racing fin would be neat but feels decidedly like an optional attachment.

This particular gunner is a streamer, of sorts. It's for recording combat footage.

I called her a smartgunner but she's actually carrying a stock machine gun without the digital targeting setup built into most models. I think she chooses "dumb" gunnery intentionally to show off her skill on camera.

She is armed with an MPDW-10 with a stick magazine, integrated flashlight, and laser sight. A drum magazine is available, but given the weight of her kit she has foregone it for something simpler.

An Access Technician does a gear check on her way to a staging bay accompanied by her assigned C4T. Rather than stow it in the rack folded at her hip, she lets it run free so it can freely observe the world (if from a somewhat lower vantage point). Good training is vital for a partnership like this.

The floodgates shall be open soon.

Accompanying her are several C4Ts; advanced Optitronic Artificial Intelligences that serve in a wide variety of computational roles within her home corporation.

Behind her are stacked habitation pods, each assigned to one individual iteration of her extended replicated line.
