After we dived, I said I was a wrasse. And had to explain her u meant.

The second person to ask was a scuba dive guide, who I opted to not answer— I said it was 8 years ago and did not impact my diving.

I asked her if she had had any guesses and she did not.

The first person who asked was someone that was in a group that I am traveling with. She saw me in my swimsuit and her way of asking was pretty respectful. She acknowledged that I didn’t need to answer and prefaced the question by letting me know that she was a surgical nurse.

I had top surgery 8 years ago last month and was not asked about my scars for 8 years. I have been asked twice in the first week.
