I for one am shocked to find that the reason Twitter is now a cesspool of hatred and bile is because that is what is being deliberately cultivated by the ketamine-addled Nazi man-child who owns it.

I don't know who this guy is, but I certainly hope he is okay. That was hard to watch.
I also want to agree with those who noted how bizarre it is that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., seeing a tragedy unfold before him, hauled ass out of the room like George Costanza during a fire.
What a nauseating man.

Your periodic reminder that mRNA vaccines are a scientific and public health game-changer. Those that have been approved have passed stringent efficacy and safety checks. They protect you and your child against potentially fatal diseases. You may, however, get a sore arm.

Met Office graphic: โ2025 is forecast to be in the top three warmest years for global average temperature since records began in 1850, joining 2023 and 2024 as the warmest three years on record. 2025 has been notably warm despite the fading of the 2023โ2024 El Niรฑo event. With greenhouse gases driving long-term warming, the headroom to keep the temperature rise below 1.5ยฐC is now razor thin. This stark message highlights the importance of keeping global temperatures as low as possible โ every fraction of a degree counts to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.โ โ Dr Colin Morice, Climate Monitoring and Research Scientist.
The WMO today releases their State of the Global Climate Report ahead of COP30. ๐
The report states that 2025 is set to be in the top 3 warmest years on record, highlighting the need to keep global temperatures down to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.

We're grateful to Public Health Scotland's data analytics team, who looked at the map, understood its value, and willingly worked with us.
They went above and beyond in producing a bespoke dataset just for the map.

From now onwards the map includes Scotland, using the same metric: PCR test positivity.
