Smithsonian removes Trump from impeachment exhibit in American history museum
A temporary placard, on display since 2021, described the president's historic impeachments. Officials said the exhibit was restored to an earlier version following a review of legacy content.
Rewriting history: Smithsonian removes Trump, the only president impeached twice, from its exhibit about impeachment. "Only three presidents have seriously faced removal," the exhibit now says referring to Johnson, Nixon and Clinton @janaykingsberry.bsky.social www.washingtonpost.com/entertainmen...

This was the week that comedy pushed back
South Park skewered President Trump. Stephen Colbert isn't holding back. This week, comedians on Paramount-owned shows aired their grievances against both their parent company and Trump.

Last than a week ago, Republican senators ceded their power to the president, approving cuts that some disliked or called excessively vague.
They insisted on preserving one program: PEPFAR.
Now the NYT says the administration has drafted potential plans to phase that out too.

1) Stop scrolling.
2) Donate to your local public radio station - it suddenly has a massive budget gap
3) I dunno, treat yourself to a break from screens and make yourself a coffee

We at Louisville Public Media just lost $376,000 due to Congress passing the rescission bill last night to claw back funds from public media across America. Today weโre asking those who value our work to help make up those funds in an emergency drive so we can maintain the staff/services we provide:

Linda Yaccarino steps down after a turbulent two years leading X
Yaccarino, a traditional business executive, was in many ways a strong foil to the mercurial and controversy-courting Musk. She did not cite a reason for her departure.
"She thought she could shape Elon. But ultimately, the man's gonna do what the man's gonna do regardless of good advice, and so, she probably wasn't as successful as she had hoped she would be," said Lou Paskalis, a friend of Yaccarino
