Mark Knoller, longtime CBS News correspondent, dies at 73 Mark Knoller was, to put it simply, a legend. For decades, everyone in the White House press corps knew him as the unofficial presidential historian and statistician.

Mark Knoller truly was a legend, a White House correspondent I was very lucky to work alongside. Even long after he retired, Mark would pull up his word doc of presidential statistics when I needed help for a story. He is going to be so sorely missed. www.cbsnews.com/news/mark-kn...

They insisted on preserving one program: PEPFAR.

Now the NYT says the administration has drafted potential plans to phase that out too.
