It is a slow burn of an adventure which has recurrent themes of political and dynastic drama. Though the adventure does begin to pick up shortly after meeting up with Balthier and Fran if you aren’t vibing with the themes and intrigue i can see pushing through and forgetting it

Ashamedly i must admit that symphonia has been in my backlog since the gamecube.I even have the ps3 version with its sequel through PS Plus and still have yet to touch them.Slay the princess has had me intrigued for a while as well.I was even thinking of it recently and looking up its switch release

A recent discussion had me boot up the NSO games I have access to and after counting through there are 69(ha!) games on there I have never played and would like to beat. I guess it shows how much i actually take that service for granted despite paying for it.

We(haha) loved the game. I think the only thing that bothered me graphically was how flat the faces looked mapped on the 3d models.We played it through our WiiU,which had replaced our wii on the entertainment stand,so the graphics were actually a little blurrier to boot.

Whenever i watch this sequence from the opening of Wild Arms I get a little envious, but I’m not a fan of rodents so I always dreamed i had a small cat who was like Hanpan instead.

The Longest 5 Minutes,though far longer than its name suggests, is a short romp with multiple endings to experience that never outstays its welcome provided you aren’t achievement hunting(and even then its not long,but the story pacing ill fits such efforts).

Sound FX are standard 16 bit fare,but the musical tracks, though admittedly few,are the real star of the games audio. Starting off strong with its evocative main theme and opening number warning of some of the somber moments to come.Given the option id gladly add it to my gaming S.track collection
