No, you are close. They had an ending scene where a gun toting daisy appears on their doorstep in brooklyn to warn the brothers about a new evil. Judging from leaked production notes for a potential sequel and some of its SMB2 aesthetics it might have used a baddy from there or a koopaling.

I enjoyed it for the genuine weirdness of the adaptation. The overacting, the attempts to shoe horn in game elements and the girl playing princess daisy was cute. Then again, i also enjoyed double dragon and i’ve been told that disqualifies me in these conversations

So a skill issue then between Rian and George because you’re right it wasn’t as blatant and in your face with George’s movies. Things happened but you didn’t have a self insert moment where a character spelled it out and spoon fed it to the audience.

I have quite a few early premium edition games and none of those were ever as long in delivery as most of my LRG stuff. And yes the longest i waited on LRG was in the 2-3 year range. I don’t know if premium edition has taken a nose dive lately,but LRG is proof lim print never gets better only worse.

No,they have however delayed projects for crazy lengths of time force payments in full in advance only to not deliver products as promised or as substandard. So no it’s not this level of mismanagement/fraud but it is still a heinous level of fuckery over there.

Galaxy was a game i expected to like but didn’t realize how much. So it actually got backlogged by me until sometime in the 2010’s when i decided i had put it off for too long. So one weekend while my wife headed out on some errands i popped it in. I didn’t even realize how deep the games hooks…

I don’t think it would be as bad if not for the choice to use classic RE tank controls. The clunkiness makes evading the constant spawning deadite menaces almost as aggravating as just fighting every damn thing you come across.

I never did finish hail to the king.I remember it being unapologetically tough at first with limited ammo and toms of enemies (who you ended up hoping would drop ammo after death so you wouldn’t end up swarmed with no gas or shells).Zelda 2 was one I didn’t learn to appreciate until later on in life
