Dear @schumer.senate.gov —

You couldn’t propose an alternative bill?

If you are unwilling to fight the dismantling of our government, stand aside to let younger folks lead.

I am really angry at the utter lack of imagination shown by Democratic Senatorial leadership.

They had a moral duty to present an alternative to the GOP CR. Present an alternative. Propose a centrist CR that lets you push for “moderate” GOPers to support it.

Even if you lose, get in the fight.

Good morning, my people.

Yesterday, I got a beautiful e-mail from someone who read this piece, saying how it made them feel hopeful and grounded in their convictions. It made my day.

Even in dark times, the light we can shine on one another keeps us going.

I’m seeing posts about PLNs and community here and it is so awesome to see educators connecting and growing organically. Educators will find a space and make room for others. It’s beautiful. #EduSky #EduSkyAI

I feel the same way. I used to do this naturally and have to relearn the skills.

I like the idea. It is sort of what happens over coffee at #Edcamp but gives a bit more time for reflection.

I hadn’t realized how long it took to build community. It takes commitment and time, lots of time.

I’ve almost forgotten how these conversations work. So glad to have them back. Even retired, I love to learn and share with what used to be called by PLN.
