A worryingly realistic prospect.

Yeah. For any team, having their three first choice wingers out is going to have a massive impact. It just exposed the issues with recruitment that we’d all identified on deadline day. And it’s frustrating to be proved right.

I’d argue they’ve definitely had a bit to do with skill. We’ve had the chances to be at least 3 points better off, if our forwards could finish. Once or twice is bad luck, but there are clear, and very worrying patterns emerging.

I’m genuinely really fucked off about that. Last season we went up by beating the teams we needed to in the big games. Our forward line is arguably worse now, and it shows, so we end up losing the 6 pointers because our board & recruitment team fucked it in the summer. These games will send us down.
