I never met Hogan. I never particularly cared for him as a performer, but don't deny his importance and acknowledge why he connected with so many.

I don't think Hulk Hogan's legacy is complicated: his personal life played out on a very public stage, and his persona and character are deeply embedded in pop culture.

I'm not sure I have thoughts on Hulk Hogan's death that will ultimately contribute much to the public discourse, but I will say I have really appreciated reading a lot of thoughtful pieces today that have taken a deep dive into his place in culture, for better or for worse.

But AEW will be negotiating its next media rights deal within the next year and a half or so in all likelihood.

That Punk/Cena segment is the very antithesis of everything CM Punk has been, his entire career.

Punk's one of the best ever at talking people into buying a match, especially if things are personal.

Didn't feel like the time to do that kind of segment, especially on a go-home.
