Important to remember that most consumer-facing "A.i." is monstrously flawed and the billionaires who push it don't care, so if you sign a deal to sloppify yourself, there's a non-zero chance that your sloppergänger will eventually tell some kid to kill themself.

Instead of what's obviously going to be a failure of an oil war, what if we poured those billions into developing public transit and alternative power sources. What if we didn't make oil and coal political issues. What if we moved on like reasonable people who see beyond the next three days

Imagine if we had a wealth cap and just took the money from these insane billionaires and let people who have studied and worked for the public good their whole lives decide how to spend it. It'd be miraculous. A whole new era, immediately.
