dw tho in devising a new plan using this all-new strategy i came up with

while this may seem like a surprise i do NOT have all these equations in the back of my head and i DONT feel like playing "guess the right query to get the answer" with google just to get a stackoverflow post from 2009 that's in 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓯𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓶𝓼 not made for human consumption IM SORRY OK

you need to do this because the system needs to know which x and y coordinate to draw the point, which is completely dependent on the position and rotation of the camera

then the values are sort of squashed into 2d points which can then just be drawn on screen normally

not on their own

the points start as 3d points (x, y, z) but to show them on screen we have to convert them to 2d points (x,y)

first, the points get converted to 3d points relative to the camera (as in, if not in view, the point will be nil)
