I see people drawing, and it looks so fluid, they don't seem to overthink it as much as I do. It's not ok to spend weeks on a single drawing when in the end it's nothing special. It doesn't deserve so much effort.

I think I'm trying to draw things that are a bit beyond my abilities. I want to depict things I don't know how to do. I need to learn to do simpler but effective things.

When I see someone's drawing, I get the impression that the person enjoyed it. I get very little enjoyment from it. I don't know what to do about it. I want to draw what I love and enjoy it. Why does everything vanish as soon as I pick up my pencil?

And I honestly don't want to practice on something else. I don't want to spend my entire week ends to draw refs and models i don't care about. I try to draw more simply, but the result seems quite low to me? I'm not sure. It's very unpleasant to think that I draw without any satisfaction.

Idk how to express this properly. I want to draw, but I don't like drawing. I want to create things, but I can't seem to find the means to do so. Everything I draw takes forever bc my method is bad. I've never learned to draw properly. Bc it's so long and laborious, it's not satisfying.
