A few companies have 1 MW chargers, which is great. The 1.5MW BYD charger setup is battery-supported (making it fast to install), and designed for passenger cars, which differentiates it from these.
For the world’s largest EV maker, BYD, flash charging is a major breakthrough in battery technology and DC fast-charging. It makes recharging comparable to refilling a gas tank.

Alpitronic makes some of the best chargers you can use in the US and Europe. Consider, though, it can put out 400kW while the new BYD charger can output 1,500kW.
(No, we don't have cars in the west that can charge at these speeds. Yet.)
BYD intends to install 20,000 Flash Chargers THIS YEAR in China.

Just sat down to dinner and this Proton e.MAS 7 (basically, a Geely EX5) and Mercedes EQA just pulled up.
