Good luck, Have Fun, Dont Die. Practically a Black Mirror anthology movie, pacing drags a bit.
All the wacky concepts have been seen before, but I still enjoyed the madcap energy and chaos.
Looks great like all Verninski films. Sam Rockwell holding it together with his Twelve Monkeys protagonist
Polygon window vibes
Only on the inside, but the outer rot is catching up
She's so funny on that Planet mu video podcast they do. I'd genuinely believe she gets great pleasure from aggravating Mike as much as possible.
Ill flip this, and turn it into a person.. cos 20ish years ago Simon Pegg was absolutely untouchable to me. But gosh even in Shaun of the Dead when you watch it now, it's not a good look when you're agreeing with Serafinowicz's sleep deprived character.
Ive just finished watching it and largely enjoyed the sub-Michael Bay temu Transformers vibe. But gosh yes does the jingoism go laughably hard at the end.
I doubt it will be the recruitment drive they must have hoped for.
Ive spent all week looking forward to WAR MACHINE and I really hope its as trashy and dumb as I hope.
Reacher doing a Predator with a giant Transformer?? What part of this equation doesn't tick a box?
Oh Shit, Jai Courtney cameo?? I plead my case..
I find it increasingly disturbing to think the best days (online and offline) are behind us. All we have is Hope, and as soon as the biggest buttplug falls, I suspect the other dominos will follow. Let's hope so, for humanity's sake
It really was another case of the Barbarians Are Coming, wasn't it? so many micro-communities and new friendship groups just obliterated by that idiot's massive Twat Hammer. Epoch-shifting
Speaking as a 90s fan of both the Aphex Twin and the Prodigy, I know exactly how you feel.
1. Session jazz trombone player and part of Mantovani's orchestra
2. Session jazz trumpet player and a regular member of the John Barry Orchestra.
I've always suspected I wasn't built for war!
Watching "Whistle".. its sort of a Temu Destination with a little bit of a Smile.
Quite hokey but they obviously had fun making it.
Lol, well ill shut up then! Haha
Split Second!
Ive also remembered Hardware : Mark 13 very much fits this aesthetic, but of course that was a rip off a 2000ad story anyway
Arguably that Rutger Hauer movie where he hunts a giant rat too. Ummmm
Uffie deux
Um, that sounds pretty cheap to me. . I had to stump up for my kids to see Lorde and Ed Sheeran recently. Stadium standing tickets were $275 each, so roughly 140 quid. .. plus flights, hotel, etc etc.
Mind you, Mad Professor is in my little town soon and his tickets are going for 15 quid each.
Oh shit is it Spider Noir already??
I REALLY hope you enjoy Bone Temple. The broad narrative is audiences were expecting zombie movies from both so far and by crikey is Bone Temple very much not a zombie movie, but something so much More. No spoilers, keen to hear your response. :)
I had a gasp of joy when my streaming page told me Monarch was back today.
Justified Ancients of Moo Moo
And it's Fantastic.. if i said Terminator 2 via Primer, would that pique your interest?
When Syro came out, I bought the usual Aphex bullshit. "These were mp3s left on a laptop" or whatever.. He likes to play down his best stuff.
The more time passes, it strikes me what a significant achievement this album was: seeming effortless was the hardest job.

Rewatching Predator Badlands for the 1st time since my absurd 4DX experience.
The first half is just good solid Predator action, but there's nothing that pleases me more than a sci fi franchise switching up the formula, and by Christ does the 2nd half of this movie deliver. So much fun.
i think he was channeling Nick Frost a bit. send him my congrats. :)
Kev posted it on facebook and im instantly hooked. watched the entire set in bed laughing my arse off
