Whedon controversies aside I liked the show too way back when but I feel like as a society we need to learn to just let things go instead of trying to chase nostalgia lol
Do people even review indie books anymore? Do y'all know any sites or booktok or bookstagram folks who might want to review a satirical thriller/horror novel inspired in equal parts by Love Island and Jurassic Park
I know that I sound like a broken record but I think once this society was ok with accepting mass covid deaths just to be able to eat at Applebees then all bets were off.
"This is before the implementation of Nighttime Worry Hour. You voice such things in the middle of the day! Under fluorescent lights! God!"

everyone in my job out sick multiple times a week, at the doctor all the time, several who were sick with flu all of their 2 week vacation... Wondering if they'll ever connect the dots that I'm the only one who masks at the office & also hasn't been sick literally in years now
Sounds very weird and fun, had to grab an ebook!
This is how I found out hahah thanks Phil, and good luck to you!
Last but not least is movies!
I saw 152 new releases this year, a ton of which I loved, so picking a top 30 was very hard. These movies are definitely worth your time tho!
(sadly The Testament of Ann Lee, Is This Thing On?, Sirat, and The Secret Agent haven't come out here yet)
Next is TV!
I watched 84 new release seasons of TV this year and this was my top 20 (which was very hard to narrow down, I also really liked The Pitt and Welcome to Derry)
If I had to pick a #1 it'd probably be Hal & Harper
Next up is books!
I read 47 books this year and these were my top 10. Rekt and Tom's Crossing in particular I loooove but they're all fantastic!
It's that time again where I post all my favorite stuff from the past year, starting with my top ten albums! ~
kith crit: cohort one
You are one of my favorite artists ever
I know it's exaggerated because it's a food show etc but how loudly he chews crunchy foods drives me absolutely nuts. And yet I continue to watch
truly one of the best comic artists in the game right now. between Chromatic Fantasy and this, the range is incredible. we're so lucky to be able to read this stuff
I love being masked at my Walmart. The little old greeter lady at the door is always masked too
I really don't need a brand to wish me a happy Thanksgiving. Send me a coupon or send me nothing
Anyone But You takes place there, I just remembered lol. It does have one "ahh a big spider!!" scene but otherwise is just a wedding romcom that happens to take place there
Oh and Lake Mungo is excellent
I imagine Peter Weir probably has several...I'm pretty sure at least Picnic at Hanging Rock, surely some others in his filmography
Lmao that is fair!
Hey the Mad Max series takes place in Australia..... Fury Road so good
The general consensus among tv fans is that it's the best show of all time my friend
Got my paperback ordered 😎
It's three bits actually (unless they changed it to two since their initial announcement, I haven't watched this trailer)
