Part 1 of 2. A digital comic featuring original characters Velia and Samyr by chaikachi. The text is from a verse of the song Sloom by Of Monsters and Men. In the first panel, Velia's hand sets a lit candlestick down on a table decorated with books. One of them is open revealing illustrations of the two characters from the distant past on its pages. Velia is on the first and she is laughing, while Samyr is on the other. He appears to be smiling as he reads from some pages in his hand, but his face is obscured by a large drop of wax that's fallen on the page. The text reads: the books that I keep by my bed are full of your stories.

Part 2 of 2. The rest of the comic shows a book that's been turned facedown, with theatre curtains falling from its spine like pages as Samyr holds a quill to the side of it. The centre frame shows Samyre and Velia in a masquerade dance in their current forms, the shadow behind them cast by the spotlight mirrors the shapes of their past selves, however. The hem of Velia's dress and Samyr's scarf both blend into the curtain as it lights aflame and carries down the bottom of the page, where Samyr now stands alone. His back is to the light, the masquerade mask on his face now showing a single tear painted on one cheek as he holds Velia's mask in his hands. The text reads: that I dress up from, a little dream of mine, a little nightmare of yours.
