I wanted to participate in Yuuyuu's #OneMiraculousMoment event.

Originally I had planned to do mine over a different event. I had written about half of my essay, but decided to scrap it in favor of another.

So here is my entry from Trails Through Daybreak 2 - "So Very Happy"

It's a simple, yet ambitious idea I thought up recently to do for the community!

This series is filled with so much content and scenes that speak to us all that I was curious to hearing what was your "One Miraculous Moment"

It's like a bigger version of my QOTD's haha

From being sheltered and limited by the Burden of Status, to being forced to deal with that burden early on, Kloe and Rufus display intriguing parallels that highlight the nuances of both characters

Showing their differences in how they grow to embrace or abandon Status 10/10

While for Rufus, being someone that's had to shoulder the responsibility of being the heir to the Albarea lineage as his defining identity up to this point

He came to relinquish his status, his identity in order to pursue what makes him happy with those who truly value him 9/10

This highlighting the paralleling differences between them even more with Kloe's sheltered past along with eventually learning to embrace the duality of Kloe Rinz and Princess Klaudia

With the help of her friends in Sky, she grows to accept the responsibility of her lineage 8/10

From these contrasting circumstances surrounding how their Status as Royalty/Nobility has burdened them, the Sky Arc and Reverie goes to show two different ways they tackle these issues

With one learning to embrace the nature of their status, and the other abandoning such 7/10

This in comparison to Kloe, being at a younger age with others that were able to treat her as an individual in Jenis helped her confront her issues head on

Specifically with Lechter helping Kloe by pushing her out of her comfort zone and seeing the truth behind her excuses 6/10

Their differences lie where they were able to confront their issues

As due to the nature of Rufus being forced into the spotlight along with his status putting him above others, he was unable to have or see any equals to help him understand his faults until Jusis matured 5/10

For Kloe, she decided to attend Jenis and eventually help out in the Orphanage in order to stand on her own two feet

Through running away from her status as Royalty, she sought to find her place as an individual with others, not seen as "perfect" or a "poor little girl" 4/10

Building upon this, Rufus sought after Osborne as a father figure to surpass in order to understand the meaning of his existence

Separating his accomplishments away from being an Albarea, he misguidedly chased after that goal, to grasp self-worth based on his own merits 3/10

To start, both characters deal with a sense of insecurity towards their self worth and wanting to be seen as an individual

For Rufus, his status pushed him into the limelight for the Albarea name like a product, while Kloe's status sheltered and restricted her own strengths 2/10

Sky-Reverie Spoilers:

I started to think about the Burden of Status that is displayed throughout the Trails series

With that, I believe Rufus and Kloe are two paralleling characters that reflect this struggle in similar, yet contrasting ways that abandon or embrace such 1/10

Doing some research into Estelle Bright and her capabilities for fun and it always makes me smile for what she does in Ring of Judgement xD

Even with an artifact that’s able to force the user to see their trauma’s and past, Estelle’s sunshine and maturity can outshine past it 💛

Being that he believes in others and especially staying true to what’s good, even in a world that tries to tell him otherwise

Hes someone that I strive to be like and to show love for all 🤍

Because that is his Superpower :)
