The topic last night was #DevLangDis and mental well-being. A topic they are experts on. @afasic.bsky.social
We will have more dates for DLD Together training for UK professionals who work with children and young people with DLD coming soon.

Amelias on track to pass her GCSEs.
To Amelia & Claire, ‘ordinary’ means going to secondary school with her sister. It means being able to join in with everyone else at school, like telling jokes for Comic Relief or being in the school play. Every child deserves a chance at ‘ordinary’.
Amelia is a young ambassador at Afasic & has Developmental Language Disorder. In Reception year, she didn’t hit a single EYFS target. But having a EHCP in place before she started primary school made all the difference. Now 13, she goes to mainstream secondary school with her big sister.
