We shouldn't capitulate on this. Its not a proven fact. Its true that it ALSO creates other problems through repurposing and overtasking, but it ALSO doesn't create efficiency. Its doubly bad. Its all lies and bullshit to sell products.
I've yet to see an increase in efficiency as is usually claimed. I see an appearance of efficiency, but underneath it is almost always unfinished and/or poorly done work that isn't helpful to anyone. I see managers having it write documents that don't say anything and I see code that needs fixing.
But also, still not convinced it creates efficiency.
