Dan Fried with a totally obvious analysis that can't be heard on mainstream US media. Wonder why.

Keir and his government, just quietly getting on with great stuff.
⚡️ Trump acknowledges Putin might be helping Iran 'a little bit.'
"I think (Putin) might be helping them a little bit, yeah, I guess," Trump said. "And he probably thinks we're helping Ukraine, right?"
At some point the US media is going to have to think through their complicity in an unshakeable narrative that one of these parties champions US manufacturing and the other seeks to destroy it.

Yup, spot on.
instead of starting by acknowledging the deaths of more US service members, Hegseth begins his presser by casting the press and says, "the United States is decimating the radical Iranian regime's military in a way the world has never seen before"
After watching the prosecution of this war, is anyone still confused about how the felon managed to bankrupt a casino? Dude could eff up a wet dream.
This Is Not a Rise in Antisemitism. It Is a Pandemic of Jew-Hatred.
Calling what we are seeing a “rise in antisemitism” minimizes the reality: an ideological contagion that is spreading across movements, platforms, and demographics with alarming speed.

Oh get off my feed you bloody idiot. You're muted.
Are you serious?
Well, i'm happy to have all the fivers with badgers on if they upset you so much. Send them to me, because i really don't care what's on them as long as I can bloody spend them!
Starmer love him or loathe him is a man who by hard work and ability has achieved high office twice without leaving a trail of scandals behind him. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, a phrase the media would do well to remember.
Rarely do my Lists demonstrate the huge benefits of this Labour Government more than this one. Such improvements, based on facts and evidence cannot be disputed.
I congratulate our Government.
Do people really buy Farage's bullshit? I find it amazing. He's hugely inconsistent
An 8% drop in national food bank use under the Labour government.
I’d put some of this down to free childcare, some to uplift in min wage & pensions, some to breakfast clubs and some to reducing interest rates/inflation.
This deserves massive applause. 👏👏👏
Reform UK candidates know that Farage wants to privatise the NHS. That’s why they’re arguing with him. They know it would be unpopular.
He wants to move to an insurance based system like America.
The public need to know this.
I'm critical of Keir Starmer but it's also proper to acknowledge what he gets right.
"I have never worked with a male politician who is as big an ally, and who has helped me move the tides of power on violence against women and girls, more than Keir Starmer." — @jessphillipsmp.bsky.social
Well said, Jess.
The NHS in England has seen ANOTHER fall in waiting lists in the data from January 2026.
This means that waiting lists have falled by more than 374k since Labour came in to government.
If you add in Wales as well, Labour run areas have seen a reduction in excess of 415k since July 2024.
If you are one of the people criticising the decision that 'nature' will be the theme of our new banknotes, please note:
You are not criticising the government, nor Labour, nor the Chancellor, nor the Bank of England.
You are criticising the public, who chose 'nature' above all other options.
📉 Wait lists have fallen again by 43k in January - 374k in 18 months.
🚑 Fastest ambulance response in 5 years, down to less than 29 mins for heart attacks and stroke
🏥 A&E waits the shortest for four years despite a hugely demanding winter
Lots done, lots more to do.
A fellow poster just responded to a plea from James O'Brien with this little gem, the media's faux outrage, pearl clutching in all its glory.
After a widespread public consultation, 60% of people voted to see nature on our bank notes. But why let that stop me stirring up my moron base by pretending it's the Bank of England being woke.
