I am really into classical right now, and I often wish that the albums included the whole movement of the piece and not just a whole bunch of violin concertos for example.

I know that not every single song on an album is gonna make me feel something but the albums that really stick out to me are the ones that make me feel things.

And I want the album to make me feel things. I want it to lead me to action or help me find healing or help me understand other humans in a profound way. There’s nothing wrong with songs that are just fun and bring you joy and I love those too. I just want to feel something.

Lyrics are super important to me, so if there are lyrics, I want to be able to understand them. If they’re not super easy to understand I love when the lyrics are either included with the physical album or if easily available online.

I hate when there is some thing that’s like part of the next song on the last song because if I really love the album, but I only have time to listen to a song or two I don’t want to have some thing that makes me feel like I have to listen to the song before an after.

The album needs a good flow of energy. For example, I don’t like when songs fluctuate from like really really energetic get up on the dance floor to like I want to cry in the dark with my cat as a ball because it was so sad.
