It's been a while since I had time to work on my mods but the Paws & Claws Remaster is making progress and I added a feature that I wanted to add for a long time - the ability to gain/ lose preferences dynamically! I'll share more details on how it works in the future.

It can do that the TDESC is just not up to date because I used that in my mod. My website works too you just canโt use a direct link to the mod because itโs archived. Feel free to message me via Discord I think that makes communication a bit easier

There should be a TDESC for it on the TDESC browser but I think it doesnโt show all features. Feel free to dig through the code of my lively towns for reference though (itโs in the archived mods on my website). It should be pretty close to what youโre trying to make

PS if you use the purchase picker tuning from Lot51's core library you don't need the loot tuning and do some other neat stuff. I understand the pain of setting up the purchase lists though it's one of the reasons why I haven't remade my mod yet ๐

Interesting that theyโre broken ๐ค thatโs what I used for my lively towns mod. Life & Death added some new code for that object component that seems to work though. I use that in my graveyard mod but it requires an injection to the zone director too so probably not working off lot either ๐

Little sneak peek for the remastered Paws & Claws mod ๐ I stumbled upon some very old code I wrote and decided to integrate it in the remaster. The animal preferences are currently in testing and flower pets has been merged with "A Sim's best friend" into a new module called "Lifelong Companions"

Ghastly Ghosts is unaffected by the patch but I've uploaded a little fix for a tuning error.
And now for the more exiting news: I've uploaded a first version of Happy Haunts!

There is one last issue with my tooltip that's driving me crazy and that is that it's getting messed up if you rename the object until the lot is reloaded the next time. I'm still trying to find a solution for this issue ๐ญ

The happy haunts overhaul has a ton of features so Iโm currently working on a roadmap and am debating on releasing them in parts so you can already enjoy the features that are finished like the new visitor schedule, venue moodlets and witching hour effects! Would you be interested in that?

I'm working on new tooltips for the urns/ tombstones utilizing the style of the new heirlooms. There are still some tweaks I want to make but the basic system is working now

No it just means that venue NPCs like doctors won't be ghosts anymore. Without this change hospital were run by ghosts if you played in a save for a while which caused problems if you couldn't see them

Sim Picker menu with portraits of the Sims and their names that are buried at the cemetery
I brought back even more stuff that I was working on before - the option to quickly see whoโs buried at the cemetery! If you click on a Sim it will focus the camera on their grave so itโs easier to find ๐

Cemetery Arch Object with tooltip of the venue name and description
The remaster of Happy Haunts will bring back the beautiful object that @surelysims.com helped me make a while ago. This object will give you some new ways of managing your cemetery including the option to set a specific cemetery keeper.

Good news I think spawning the ghosts of the Sims that are actually buried on the lot works! As soon as you have at least one occupied grave on the lot the game will prioritize them and mourners that actually knew the Sim.

Yeah I kicked out the joggers and loungers in my tweak too and made it so that mourners come during the day and ghosts during the night. Also more ghosts during full moon ๐
I have an idea how to pull off your second suggestion. I'll test that out and report back if it worked.

You mean so that no mourners would show up? I tweaked the sim spawning on cemeteries anyways so I could add a test that prevents visitors if a certain lot trait is applied. Just need some info which type of visitors should be blocked (mourners, ghosts, cemetery keeper etc.)

Interactions on a tombstone with all the funeral interactions unlocked
I unlocked all interactions that can normally only be performed during funerals. They're still restricted in their autonomy so that Sims won't get obsessed with interacting with tombstones though. Now I just need to add some outcomes and add back my own interactions I made.
