Das was über bisher Dagewesenes hinaus geht ist die Vernetzung und die Machtstrukturen. Da ist es aber gerade sehr wichtig zu differenzieren, damit man nicht in das übliche "die da oben" (oder schlimmeres) fällt und Spekulationen zu lassen.

I always treated them like this: apparently someone more skilled in R than me decided that it's a good idea to have them, I won't bother understanding them, and if they act up they get coerced into a data frame.

FWIW in contemporary Q methods I saw some kind of prototype flagging, which can then be followed up with, e.g, interviews to establish this. But that's basically adding another type of assessment.

I completely agree that virtually all these approaches that work with psychometrics alone lack this aspect of functional or mechanistic explanation. I also doubt that this can be resolved by switching from one statistical model to another.

You are essentially describing a Q-sort, right? Then you have basically generated data for which clustering works.

Adverse childhood event reports are largely stable but also fluctuate, which is related especially to current relationships with parents. More support or less strain associated with fewer recalled events. Pretty interesting work by @chops310.bsky.social

Yeah I rarely see the same accounts actually admitting they were wrong. They exist - and there are also accounts that do a good job at debunking, but they often have very little followers. The social media algorithms seem to prefer BS over information…

We are currently entering the great debunking phase on social media. These posts often come from the same accounts that celebrated polyvagal theory some time ago and recommended ear pressure points to PTSD patients.

I have to say, as long as you know what you're doing, Vibe is really useful for auxiliary tasks in the coding area. I'm currently using it to clean up a very messy directory from an R project; it's rewriting the paths for me, etc.
