It's amazing how the people who don't think evolution is true are now in love with the word "biological".

Their actual understanding of science is still on the same level as when they built the Noah's Ark museum.

I'm pretty sure mine is autistic burnout but being undiagnosed means I can't get an official diagnosis without first getting the asd diagnosis. I'm just doing what I can to get through it. Thankfully my boss is pretty understanding and lets me work from home most of the time so I can nap if needed.

The best part about talking about having fatigue is people telling you about whatever random miracle substance they think will fix it.

Ever since I learned about the notwithstanding clause, I wondered why that was put in the charter. I get that it's supposed to give power back to the provinces in certain cases, but it's just become a 'get out of human rights free' card for shitty governments to run amok with. It needs to go.

The morning after my first use of a CPAP I woke up with a weird feeling. It was being rested. I hadn't been properly rested in so long I forgot what it felt like.

Us 'freaks' - the trannies, the furries, the gays and the theys... we made this place fun and interesting and got this site off the ground, and now it's the part of the cycle where we're thrown away in favour of more 'respectable' people.

What I've been seeing from Bluesky leadership has me really worried. I've seen it before. This place is becoming less fun and more like my last days on Twitter.

Marginalized people getting fucked over by moderation while much worse things are said by bigots to us...

I came here as a Twitter refugee. I had a reasonably large following that was well curated, was part of a community, and while it was a hellsite, I made it home. I met my wife there, even.

Bluesky has never clicked with me the same way, but I've been able to make it work

I do want Transgender for Everyone.

I want everyone to have full personal and bodily autonomy.

I want everyone to have the freedom to determine who they are for themselves and not have this dictated by other people.

Everyone is the expert on themselves. Self-determination is a fundamental right.

This really shouldn't be a difficult concept for people to grasp. It is fucking GROSS for you to ask people to vote for their own segregation and dehumanization.

Always in context of some sort of bigotry. Always.
