The Press is the people’s (our) unofficial branch of facts, truth and accountability. Given the brown nosing of court and congressional MAGAts, we need a free press! But is it free? Is the lack of press access considered censorship and in violation of the constitution’s first amendment?

Seems when one is in a lose/lose situation, (between a rock and a hard place), the decision must be weighed by risk and harm. Glad I didn’t have to make the decision. No good alternative.

Good teachers know that safety is key to learning. A welcoming and safe school creates a belonging environment where bullying is not tolerated, students are not afraid to ask questions, to think, to express their opinions or exercise their creativity. This shouldn’t even be an issue.

I also believe that big acts to change the world require strength in numbers, not just individuals in big anonymous protests but face-to-face communities purposefully working together not only to fight against the wrongs but to build the future.
