In Syria protestors managed to bring out the majority of the country against the regime then fought a 14 year war right after. Instead of giving up, people built their own local government separate from the regime; managed everything from utilities, trade, education to hospitals. They kept going.

The secret to successful regime change is never letting up, it can take weeks, days, years and even decades. Survive and thrive despite fascism. You could be protesting MAGA for the next 25 years.

The US is lucky regime troops are using rubber bullets, tear gas, and pepper balls. But that can changes overnight at any point with the deranged criminal in power. The “I’m tired of protesting” “I’m sitting this out” crowd; if this is all the steam you have right now then you do deserve fascism.

From the moment the US decided extrajudicial assassinations and torturing some folks was an acceptable course of action, the dominos were set in motion for its own demise. It didn’t fall to a foreign adversary but to its own sword wielded by injustice and apathy.

True justice can only happen when all can be held accountable for their actions equally. When Anonymous warned about Epstein the population chose injustice, media chose silence & to amplify conspiracy theories, the DOJ chose inaction. It’s not an “I told you so” it’s a reminder of what is broken.

Yes Russia, Israel and others were and are the powerhouses behind Trump but it was US corruption and a political culture of unaccountability upheld by an infantilized electorate that left the door wide open for the wolves. And now here we are, witnessing a feeding frenzy of epic proportions.

There are systems in place to stop what happened, they all work, they simply weren’t used. The choice not to prosecute Trump to protect other US politicians and corporatist whether it was Clinton or others from all political leanings is why Trump was able to take power.

The USians will never take accountability for their own failures even today many continue to blame each other for “not voting” or “both siding Clinton and Trump” instead of looking for accountability with their justice department for failing to do its duty.
