As the white outer fabric isn't opaque enough to not show the blue lining, I cut out a layer of thin white polyester lining (had to be the same fiber as the fashion so that it wouldn't be strange in ironing) to flatline to the outer fabric. Tacked these to help ensure everything is aligned later.

Cut out the linings for the full pattern and sewed in the darts. I was really careful with this as polysatin is a pain with warping. Added a pleat on the back since blazer linings usually have one to accommodate movement (I think).

FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS UHH. decided on the final pattern as bodice 1.7 with a 3cm extension to the width down the center back, with arm 1.5 and a new collar with 1.1's height and 1.0 curvature.

The Blood Moon is rising once again, the Crimson Eye is ever-watching.

1/2: My boyfriend and our two friends were playing on Bleasdale and they all decided to hide in the cupboard under the stairs in the foyer while I investigated. I suggested that it might not be a hiding place but they insisted. #5YearsOfPhasmo

So turns out that mockup was also Not Great, HOWEVER ☝️ after a week's holiday I have made what I think are the necessary adjustments.

Basically I drafted the shoulders too far back, so I had to do a forward shoulder adjustment to remedy that. The arm was also too small so I've reworked it to fit.

Best arm seam I've ever done icl (unpressed atm). Shame it's for a mockup but I know I can do it now ig.

Patterning for sewing really is "I think I've used the right amount of maths here" and always being wrong.

Ok so did tha arm and added it to the bodice. It fits so much better, however I noticed it's tight at the back because I forgot to move the armhole more forward on the bodice to account for shoulder movement :)))

Been procrastinating but back to redoing the arm curve, this time with 10cm between the peak and trough as opposed to 6cm.
