Amazing!
In cases you were wondering . . . this is a photo that annoyed Pete Hegseth so much because he thought it was "unflattering" so he got the photographer barred. I encourage all of you to use it as often as possible.
I Do Not Like It, Sam-I-Am
They say the self is plain to see. Perhaps — but not by me.
Lessons in Gravity
In the morningher mother stood at the stove. Her father folded the newspaperbeside his tea. The girl left with her bagbefore the bread cooled. Her mother called her namefrom the doorway. A fig tree leaned toward the street. The school stood between two pointsalready marked on a…
A Republic of Ruin
The collapse of a nation is indistinguishable from the collapse of a heart.
DOJ's recent 6th Circuit filing misspelled:
Voters as “Votors”
Emergency as "Emeregency"
United States as "United Staes"
And, it included a non-party in the caption.
These are the people who want access to your sensitive voting records and who my team fights in court every day.
We the People, who paid for Jack Smith's report, deserve to see what's in the report.
Fuck Aileen Cannon.

Judge Cannon claims that she *strains* to find an example where a special counsel released a report after in indictment that did not result in a finding of guilt. Here’s one off the top of my head: Sussman, who was charged and acquitted, is mentioned 311 times in Durham’s final report.

Elegy For a Baldwin (Upright)
Baldwin, you stood against the Chicago wall, upright in walnut, varnish on your case;your brass name caught the room’s thin evening-falland kept a small, fixed glimmer in its face.Eighty-eight keys; seven refused the call—dead notes that made my hands learn their own…
Elegy For a Baldwin
The Baldwin stood against the Chicago wall, walnut in lamplight, upright, scarred, and proud;its name in brass—one word above it all—kept catching fire whenever streets grew loud.Eighty-eight doors; seven refused the call:dead keys that made a private kind of cloud.I learned…
RIP to all the American soldiers who are about to die to protect a paedophile from accountability 😭😭😭
There’s a lot to investigate and report on from today’s stunning deposition of Les Wexner. But here’s something I can’t get over.
I asked Mr. Wexner if the DOJ or FBI ever contacted him to ask him about Epstein and his crimes. He said NO. That’s outrageous and unforgivable.
If someone had told me ten years ago that in 2026, there could be evidence of the president raping and threatening to kill children, and he would *still* be allowed to stay in office, I would have politely asked them to put down the meth pipe.
Let’s be real. They haven’t even really begun to release the Epstein files yet as the law requires.
This is what they chose to release, flood the zone and move on.
We must keep going.
Lindsey Graham is a haggard old alcoholic who sold his soul on the golf course after Trump told him he also knew about the worst kept secret on Capitol Hill (nice work, Jared). Having him insult our allies while in a blackout is not what our forefathers envisioned. Retire, lush.
THE UNBEFITTING: A Letter Across Time
Reimagining The Metamorphosis, this story casts Gregor Samsa as a witness to modern anti-trans rhetoric, exploring how societies shrink rooms around those who trouble their categories—and what it means to refuse erasure.
I think we are going to have a Democratic-controlled Senate.
And all we will need for the leadership of that Democratic Senate to do is hold actual, real, impeachment trials.
As the Constitution requires.
Not the bullshit fake trials like the ones that the Senate held in 2020 and 2021...
#Trump and the #Pedophiles are lying with impunity, and to our face, like we’re stupid!
They’ve been protecting each other for decades!

Bondi as Lady Macbeth: A Washington Tragedy
“I think our country sinks beneath the yoke. It weeps, it bleeds, and each new day a gash is added to her wounds.” Washington has a thousand titles for power. It has fewer for the people who make power comfortable. Bondi, in this version of Shakespeare’s…
The New York Times just launched a new "newsletter about the law and the courts." They are calling it "The Docket."
The Times may not care that Democracy Docket has been publishing "On the Docket" and "Daily Docket" for years, but I believe our 400,000 subscribers might.
More on this tomorrow.
Listen folks, Pam Bondi was Attorney General of Florida from 2011 to 2019 so she's been covering up Epstein's crimes for a loooooong-ass time
Pam Bondi has the ambition of a Borgia with the legal philosophy of a valet. She does not care if the orders are legal - she only cares if trumps shoes are shined and if his critics have been cleared from the lobby.
BREAKING: The House passed the so-called SAVE America Act which threatens to upend our freedom to vote.
The bill could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters by requiring documents like passports or birth certificates to register to vote and forcing voter roll purges. The Senate must reject it.
