Did you know? The official genre of the Lain PS1 game is "サイコストレッチウェア", which roughly translates to "psychostretchware"
In an interview, Yoshitoshi ABe teased that the use of this genre actually caused the game to be rejected from a game review magazine, who said they couldn't categorize it!
