My only take on this, is that if you're an indie dev who doesn't have meltdowns like the Perepetia one, don't ever make a Discord server centeted around your game. Just stay in the shadow and drop updates every 3 months.

The world was a better place when these sorta things were kept to their own inner circles where you might hear an inkling of rumors of drama years down the line from an anonymous forum post. I don't think I need to know or care about these things, and neither should most people.
