Turns out that doctors are actually required to write a certain number of prescriptions in order to continue to be covered by the insurance companies. So insurance companies are essentially requiring doctors to write unnecessary prescriptions. (3/3) Thanks big pharma.

It was heartbreaking to drop him off and I almost cried because he was so precious, but I know he will have a much better life with a family who 1. isn’t allergic to cats 2. isn’t a broke college student and 3. actually has the time to give him the attention he deserves. Goodbye egg 🫡

I knew he was probably hungry so I looked online at what was safe to feed a kitten. The only thing I had was a hard boiled egg. So I fed it to him and he loved it! He loved it so much I decided to name him after the egg. So this is Egg.

So I did, and they told me that to vaccinate him, since it was such a small kitten, would total close to 300 dollars… Add onto that the fact that I was already sneezing and I knew I would have to say goodbye. So I researched shelters near me and I found a no-kill shelter to take him to. But first—

The man who put the kitten down came back. I asked him if it was his kitten and he told me no, but that he had found it stuck in between the fence. He then asked me if I was keeping it and I told him I don’t know (I’m terribly allergic but he was so cute) So the man told me to take him tot he vet—

I was looking out my window when I saw someone leave a small animal next to the dumpster… I immediately went outside but he was gone before I got there. Next to the dumpster I found this tiny little kitten 🥺 I scooped him up in a large cardboard bag and went to take him inside, and that was when—
