He eventually pulled away, licking his lips clean..
"Mnn.. And it tasted amazing, my dear~"
"At least for the moment.." He said, chuckling.
"Who knows what the future holds.."
And yet he didn't. He simply held her close while he drank.. It took a moment for him to become accustomed to it, but he did..
"I think I can handle the spice.." He said with a smile before moving to sink his fangs into her neck gently.. His tongue ready to lap up any blood..
He gave a smile to her, nodding..
"Thanks, ma.. I.. am happy that you are.."
He smiled to her, nodding.
"Will do.. in the meantime.. gonna let me ever try your blood?"
"Hence my question of if you were sure~"
He stayed quiet after that, simply holding his mother close..
"You've apologized already.. I'll move past it.. just.. was talking about the current moment of why I don't have a crew.."
"I don't know.. I like the older look too.. But I was meaning of you vomiting off the side of the ship-"
"I mean, you're my mother.. I care about what you say.."
"Haha.. well.. if my maiden voyage went up in a ball of flames.. didn't want anyone else to die because of my ambitions.."
"That I can~" He said, smiling to her.
"Though, this might be more reminiscent of my heat.. just all at once.. are you sure you can handle it?"
He smirked..
"I just learned how to do it before I started this voyage.."
He nods, moving to hug her gently.
"I.. was actually on my way to show you a new thing I learned.. Which.. is why I don't have a crew now.. I heard you and pa talking and mentioned about me being too ambitious.. Didn't want to kill anyone on my maiden voyage with my ambition.."
"You.. don't have to stop not being over it.. You are in your right to be upset.. I just.. can't listen to it anymore.." He said, giving a small smile to her..
"I.. Love you, ma.."
"wellll, I do have a crew.." He said, chuckling.. before another him could be seen walking behind him
He looked away, frowning more..
"Look.. I get that I made a mistake with rushing through my age.. But I can't do anything about it now.. I planned on returning home once I have achieved my goal.. and even planned on working for our Navy.. But.. You have to stop bringing it up.."
"Yeah.. had.. an issue with my parents and.. with how they worded it and a new trick I learned.. I.. didn't want to risk anyone else on my first flight out.."
He smiled, leaning in for another kiss..
"Mmnn.. Nice to know.. well, if you choose to stay the night, then you can actually be as loud as you want.. we have the ship to ourselves.."
"Then what /did/ you mean, mother?" He asked, glancing back to her briefly.
"I apologized for rushing my aging.. For hurting you that way.. But it still felt like there was nothing I could do to make you happy past that point. You focused on the fact that I was 'too ambitious'.."
He chuckled, moving to wrap his hands around her waist.
"Ever the sweet taste on your lips as well~"
He smiled to her, nodding.
"And you look stunning as always.."
"No crew to command.. I told them to stay home.."
He looked to her in surprise before back out to the sky.
"Yeah.. It is.."
He turned to her in surprise before smiling.
"Of course I do.. was that much not obvious?"
"Hmm.. I wonder how Janessa is doing..?"
"Ah, the sky sure is pretty today.."
He nods, giving a small smile to her.
"I'll.. see you when you visit then.."
